MEPS & WELS Testing
Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) Testing
Spectrum Laboratories provides IANZ accredited testing of external power supplies to the relevant Australian and New Zealand Minimum Energy Performance Standards.
The proposed implementation date of MEPS for external power supplies is December 2008 in Australia and April 2009 in New Zealand.
After the above dates all external power
supplies within the scope of the relevant standards will need to
comply with the following AS/NZS standards;
• 4665.1: Test method
and energy performance mark
• 4665.2: Minimum energy performance
standard (MEPS) requirements
The importer (or manufacturer) of external power supplies, or products with external power supplies will also need to fulfill other obligations under the Energy Efficiency (Energy Using Products) Regulations 2002.

Hand held and fixed in accordance with AS/NZS 3662:2005 which include the following clauses;
Water flow rate
Temperature drop
Spray pattern
